About

Nonograms, also known as Paint by Numbers, Picross, Griddlers, Pic-a-Pix, Hanjie, and various other names, are picture Logic puzzle in which cells in a grid must be colored or left blank according to numbers at the side of the grid to reveal a hidden picture. *** Rule *** In Nonogram, the numbers are a form of discrete tomography that measures how many unbroken lines of filled-in squares there are in any given row or column. For example, a clue of "4 8 3" would mean there are sets of four, eight, and three filled squares, in that order, with at least one blank square between successive sets. *** Features *** ● More than 200 hand crafted beautiful pixel arts ● There are various topics to have fun with ● Playing and learning about nature at the same time ● Using hint can help you in difficult time ● Easy controls, either using drag or d-pad ● Support Monotone and Color Mode ● Support zooming in big size level ● Playing session is saved/resumed automatically ● Don’t forget to using Mark (X) to solve the puzzle easier *** Strategy *** Simpler puzzles can usually be solved by a reasoning on a single row only (or a single column) at each given time, to determine as many boxes and spaces on that row as possible. Then trying another row (or column), until there are no rows that contain undetermined cells. Some more difficult puzzles may also require several types of "what if?" reasoning that include more than one row (or column). This works on searching for contradictions: When a cell cannot be a box, because some other cell would produce an error, it will definitely be a space. And vice versa. Advanced solvers are sometimes able to search even deeper than into the first "what if?" reasoning. It takes, however, a lot of time to get some progress. If you like to solve classic logic puzzles such as sudoku, minesweeper, pixel art or different math games, you will love Nonogram.

  • These are the things that make this absolutely perfect: You don't need to complete puzzles in ascending difficulty levels. You can choose a puzzle for what level you're in the mood for and there are endless puzzles. Layout and self-created color options to personalize your experience. Visually appealing. No annoying story mode. Evolution mode is fun. Ads are not intrusive and the price point to remove them is fair. The best nonogram game I've ever played.

  • Everything I want in a picross/nonogram game. It has both error-checking and unguided modes. In unguided mode, filling a line with X/"no" marks only fills empty squares. You can solve the puzzles in any order you want. The overall vibe is beautiful and relaxing without being intrusive. And there's no story or other mechanics to deal with between puzzles. The ads are unobtrusive and relevant (without being creepy), or you can pay to remove them.

  • Good, but the controls are not clearly marked, and it took me a while to figure out what the little flower symbol was supposed to mean. It also automatically marks you wrong if you try to put a color where an x should be, but not vice versa, and there's no way to turn that off. Decent gameplay, just needs a tweak or two.

  • I recently got into these types of puzzles & I'm a big fan of this app. There are many different puzzles to choose from & many of them are challenging in a fun way. You have the option to zoom in but it's MUCH easier to solve the puzzle if you can see the whole thing. Unfortunately the precision with touching small squares is not great & I'll often accidentally hit a wrong square. There's also only a few easy/medium puzzles to play; the rest are difficult.

  • The concept of the game is wonderful and the nonograms are good. The only thing that needs work is the spelling and grammar. I got through all of the plant puzzles without seeing much issue, but moving onto the animal section, there are TONS of issues with the facts as far as spelling, grammar, capitalization, and even facts that get cut off mid sentence.

  • I really liked the customization options and the ability to turn on "paper mode" which is how I'm used to doing nonograms with no lives or telling you when you're incorrect. However many, many puzzles have either multiple answers or don't have enough information to complete without using the lives and marking when you're incorrect system which I dislike.

  • this is a wonderful game! as a kid i used to play nonogram games all the time—specifically, flippix. as those apps cost money, ive been searching for a free nonogram game that gives the same sort of satisfaction, and im pleased to say this fits the bill extremely well :) ive only been playing it for 10 or 20 minutes, but i can tell it will stay just as enjoyable. one thing i especially like is that you can choose which puzzle to play, rather than having a linear progression of levels. <3

  • The design is nice, but really frustrating. It's really easy to hit the wrong space on the tiny squares, other than the edges which seem nearly impossible sometimes. Not only do you take a hit toward finishing the puzzle, it also gives you hints about the pattern that you weren't looking for when you hit a box by mistake. Maybe if it expanded when you put your finger down, or didn't tell you when you are wrong at all (at least, an option for it), but it's too frustrating as is.

  • I ADORE these games, and this one takes the cake. It's puzzling enough to be fun, and gives gorgeous colors/ pictures AND teaches about things. Ads aren't overbearing, and the various colors don't make the puzzles hard, since they're all treated like one color. (At least on the level I'm doing, not sure if there's a different setting)

  • I did end up buying the ad free package, and so far, I am enjoying the lovely experience of nonograms. Every picture I finish gives a really fun fact about the image itself! I'm learning so much about plants and astronomy. It's so rewarding to see the finished image. I also just really enjoy how challenging the nonograms get. Very well made! Definitely worth the ad free buy.

  • It's fun. When you get the right square filled in, it stays filled in. You can't accidentally erase it. I often hit wrong spots, and some games I've played will erase the right spot. Not this one. You also get a small bit of info about the pictures. Handy, especially with plants, etc. that you've never heard of. The game is simple to play and well-explained. I've finished some sections but there is still a nice chunk to come. Very enjoyable, very entertaining. The world disappears when you play.
